Story creation for a Comic strip

Smart Srimati
A character developed for Wheel (Hindustan Unilever Limited’s brand of detergent powder) is a representative of the brand’s target audience.

‘Mehnat Se Azaadi’, goes the punch line, which strongly reflects the daily life of an average Indian woman, filled with endless number of house chores. Wheel’s effective components help reduce the time, otherwise consumed in washing and scrubbing clothes, hence relieving one of hard work and giving ample free time.

Smart Srimati takes advantage of this ‘free time’ by either pursuing her hobbies or helping her friend Mukta (who seems to be ever surrounded by problems) ― all thanks to Srimati’s presence of mind and knowledge of smart home fixing tips.

The stories (written in English), with the aforementioned outline in mind, are then converted into comic strips (scroll below for the same), which are further translated into regional languages.
