Story creation for a Comic strip
Who is Chulbuli?
A character developed for Clinic Plus (Hindustan Unilever Limited’s brand of shampoo) who propagates hygiene through clean and healthy hair.This fun loving girl goes out of her way to help anyone in trouble, and the entire course of action unfolds into an adventurous series of events.
My Role
The stories (written in English) are converted into comic strips, which are further translated into regional languages.
After a long day at school and then with an adventure-filled life like Chulbuli’s, it isn’t just enough to wash one’s Muh, Haath (a colloquially used Hindi term to wash one’s face and hands) but Muh, Haath Baal (face, hands and hair) to be sure that your child always stays clean and healthy.
In a nutshell, the stories had to be simple enough for the concept of ‘Muh Haath Baal’ (face, hands and hair) to register.
